ABOUT
Compagnie Minière du Bafing (CMB) is an Ivorian nickel company, operating the largest DSO (Direct Shipping Ore) nickel project on the African continent.

CMB currently operates the open pit mines of Foungbesso and Moyango. These are some of the richest nickel laterite deposits in the world, with a lifespan of over 20 years. The pits are shallow (20-30 meters) and the mining process is entirely mechanical (without the use of explosives, chemicals or hazardous materials), allowing for safe mining with a minimal environmental footprint.
CMB maintains a constructive relationship with the State of Côte d'Ivoire and the state mining entity SODEMI, holding respectively 10% and 5% equity interest in the company.
